The VGFOA has two classes
of membership:
Full Active Membership
($35 annually) -
These are individuals who are directly involved in the
custody, control, disbursement, and/or accountability of public funds
for any governmental entity as recognized by the Commonwealth of
Virginia; the title of the individual being immaterial.
Associate Non-Voting and Retired Membership ($50 annually) –
These are individuals indirectly associated with or
interested in the furtherance of responsible financial management
and modern governmental financial practices and public, funds
accountability and all individuals who subscribe to the purpose of this
organization.
Dues are per calendar year, with no prorating (i.e.,
dues paid anytime in calendar 2004 are for the balance of that
membership year).
