In conjunction with
the VGFOA 2007 Fall Conference we are pleased to
offer an opportunity to tour one of Virginia's
premiere wineries, Horton Cellars Winery.
Taste nationally acclaimed wines in an old-world
Tudor winery. Sample from a variety of over 30
wines including Marsanne, Viognier, Petit
Manseng, Chardonnay, Mourvedre, Cabernet Franc,
Pear, Peach, Strawberry, and
Raspberry.
The vineyard specializes in many different types and
styles of wines. Their unique creation, "Dom
Virginion", is a sparkling Viognier, the only
sparkling version of this wine in the world.
The 100 acre vineyard is approximately 20 miles
north of Charlottesville and produces
approximately 30,000 cases annually.
The tour is limited to a total of 50 people so
register for the tour as early as possible using
the form below.
