2006 Spring Conference Hotel Update (Updated May 6, 2006)

The Sheraton block of rooms for the VGFOA Conference is sold out. In fact, it appears that the entire Sheraton is sold out. For those who booked their reservations between May 1 and May 4, the Sheraton will honor the conference rate.

In case people still need a room for the conference, a very limited number of rooms have been blocked at the Courtyard by Marriott Oceanfront North hotel, one block north of the Sheraton, for a room rate of $134.

Guests need to call 757-437-0098 and ask for the VGFOA block.

General Driving Directions:

From Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (North)

After the Tunnel, take Route 60 (Shore Drive) East to Atlantic Avenue. Go south to 36th Street.

From Norfolk International Airport

Take Interstate-64 East to Route 264 East and take the Virginia Beach Exit. Follow to the end of 264 and turn left on Atlantic Avenue. Follow North to 36th Street , and the hotel is on the right.

From West

Take Interstate 64 East to Route 264 (formally Route 44) to Virginia Beach. Proceed to the end of the street and turn left (north) to 36th street.

From South

Take Interstate 95 North to Route 58 East. Take Interstate 64 West to Route 264 East (Virginia Beach Expressway) to the oceanfront. Turn left (north) to 36th Street.
